COMPUTER SYSTEM OF KUWAIT'S INTERIOR MINISTRY RESTORED, MANY FLIGHTS WERE DELAYED

Kuwait City:  A major crisis has arisen at the airport following the failure of the entry and exit system of the Home Ministry. After a two - and - a - half hour technical glitch, the airport returned to normal at 3.15pm. 


There was a huge crowd in front of the luggage counters of the airlines. It also delayed the departure of seven flights. The arrival hall was also jammed for about two hours as six planes arrived and were prevented from exiting. The technical department worked on the alternative system and took swift action, but the problems were compounded by the fact that multiple flights took off and landed, sources said.
