Kuwait City: According to Turkish government data, Kuwaitis ranked fourth in terms of foreigners purchasing real estate in Turkey in May. According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institution, Kuwaitis purchased 130 houses in May, placing fourth, while Russians led the list with 1,275 purchases, Iranians came in second with 736 properties, and Iraqis came in third with 617 properties. 


The data was added Last May, Istanbul topped the Turkish cities selling real estate to foreigners, with 2,451 houses sold, followed by Antalya overlooking the Mediterranean with 885 properties and Mersin with 264 properties. According to the sources, foreigner real estate sales climbed by 70% from January to May compared to the same time in 2021, when 26,753 houses were sold. According to the TSI, Kuwaitis ranked sixth in terms of foreigners purchasing real estate in Turkey last year, purchasing 1,791 houses.
