ACCORDING TO SURVEY, SOCIAL MEDIA IS THE TOP CAUSE OF DIVORCE IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: According to a report, social media is the main reason for divorce in the nation. The opinions of a Kuwaiti person were sought in a field study by the Center for Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies, associated with the University of Kuwait. When samples are taken, statistics show that 15% of people think social media is the main reason for divorce.


Meanwhile, 13% of respondents claimed that it was because of a weakness in faith. 9.8% of respondents claimed that difficulties are made worse by couples' parental participation. With 9.2 percent, social values relating to the comfort and freedom that come with divorce are in fourth place. Numerous other causes, including irresponsibility and neglect of the family, financial difficulties, a lack of trust between the spouses, and a lack of time for the husband to spend with his wife, are also mentioned in the poll.
