KUWAIT IS THE CHEAPEST COUNTRY IN WHICH TO LIVE

Kuwait City: The Numbeo website, one of the biggest databases on living expenses in the world, classified Kuwait as the ninth-cheapest Arab nation and the cheapest Gulf nation in its cost of living index for the first half of this year. The cost of living index, which is a comparative index published biannually by Numbeo that measures the prices of consumer items in 137 nations worldwide, including the cost of groceries, restaurants, transportation, and utilities. It does not, however, include living costs like rent or a mortgage. 


Among the Arab countries, Lebanon was ranked as the most expensive, and 18th globally, followed by Qatar in second place and 30th globally, then the UAE 35th globally, Bahrain 40th, Saudi Arabia 44th, Palestine 45th, Oman 50th, Jordan 52nd, and then Kuwait in 56th place globally. Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Syria and Egypt were ranked as the cheapest Arab countries to live in. 

On the other hand, after Qatar and the UAE, Kuwait has the third-highest rate of rent increases among the Gulf and Arab nations. Kuwait placed higher than a number of European nations, including China, France, Germany, Sweden, Finland, and Italy. Kuwait ranked fourth among the Arab nations in terms of the buying power index, behind the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. This indicator displays the relative purchasing power of each person in relation to the average net pay in a given city when it comes to buying products and services there.
