Kuwait City: According to statistics, Kuwait consumes significantly less water than the rest of the world overall. The nation has one of the highest per capita consumption rates in the world. Kuwait is thought to utilise 100 imperial gallons of water every day. These data have been released at a time when there is a critical water deficit. According to Engineer Fahad Al Dafri, director of the maintenance division at the Ministry of Water, clean water should be stored in buildings for sufficient consumption for 48 hours owing to failures and unforeseen repairs.

The country's water network spans roughly 1,004 km. He said that 8180 kilometres of this are for fresh water. Al Dafri also mentioned that the government got 27,000 complaints last year. He continued by saying that the department maintains constant watch and steps in as soon as complaints are received.
