KUWAIT OVERCAME THE PANDEMIC AND GAINED A PLETHORA OF EXPERTISE TO HANDLE ANY EPIDEMIC

Kuwait City: During the Covid 19 epidemic, the Department of Health assessed that Kuwait went through a period full of crisis but succeeded in dealing with it. It has been possible to gain experience and preparedness to deal with any epidemic in the future. Kuwait was not isolated from the world during the effects of Covid. But it was able to be vigilant from the first moment the virus was announced. 


Several measures have been taken to limit the spread of Covid. The country has received praise, including from the World Health Organization, for its handling of the crisis. As soon as the World Health Organization declared an epidemic outbreak, Kuwait took swift action. 

A total ban has been imposed on air services. Provision of approved medical supplies, medicines and vaccines to be done better. A curfew was imposed to prevent the spread of the epidemic and all gatherings were suspended. The health officials said that it was a milestone to start vaccination on December 24, 2020.
