KUWAIT RANKED 26TH GLOBALLY AND FOURTH IN ARAB WORLD FOR AVERAGE SALARIES

Kuwait City: According to a list recently released by the American magazine "CEO World," Kuwait ranked fourth in the Arab world and 26 overall in terms of average monthly salaries. The average net monthly salary in Kuwait was $1854.45.


The UAE topped the list in the Arab world and ranked fifth overall to be the only region among the top ten countries on the list. Five Gulf countries held the top spots in the Middle East and North Africa countries with net average monthly salaries.

According to the list, the average net monthly salary in the UAE is $3663.27, which is higher than the average salary in all of Asia and all of Europe (aside from Switzerland). 

With an average monthly salary of $3168.05, Qatar is second in the Arab world and ranked 11th globally. Saudi Arabia is third and ranked 25th globally; Kuwait is next, followed by Bahrain, which was ranked 28th globally with an average monthly salary of $1,728.74; and Oman is sixth in the Arab world and ranked 30th globally. 

According to "CEO World," Egypt has the lowest average salaries among Arab nations, coming in at $219.73 on a global scale of 100, followed by Algeria at $249.67 on a global scale of 98, and Tunisia at $277.44 on a global scale of 96. The American publication calculated the average net monthly salaries across a range of nations after taking into account deductions and contrasting income in some of the richest and poorest nations. 

When compared to the more than 105 nations covered by the "CEO World" accounts, Switzerland ranked first globally with an average net monthly salary of $6,141.1, followed by Singapore with an average of $4,350.79, Australia with an average of $4,218.89, the United States with an average of $3,721.64, and the UAE with an average of $3,663.27. Sri Lanka ranked at the bottom of the list with the lowest average monthly salary.
