Kuwait City: The Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Tuesday that their summer travel plans were extremely successful, with more than four million passengers served. Saleh Al-Fadaghi, DGCA Deputy Director-General for Kuwait International Airport affairs, stated that the airport had seen an increase in the number of travellers this year compared to last year following the lifting of Coronavirus (COVID-19) preventative measures.

He went on to say that Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, and Istanbul are the most popular summer destinations, and that Kuwait International Airport has "successfully" surpassed the unstable situation it faced in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
