KUWAIT HAS ABUNDANT SUPPLY OF COFFEE

Kuwait City: Fahd Al-Arbash, head of the Federation of Restaurants, Cafés, and Catering, confirmed that the country has an ample supply of coffee and is not affected by the recent coffee crop damage in Brazil; thus, there has been no significant increase in coffee prices in Kuwait.

According to Al-Arabash, "the majority of coffee products entering Kuwait are from India, so the changes caused by the Brazilian crop crisis had no impact on the country." He stated that the majority of Kuwaiti coffee companies, particularly the major ones, have enough supply for six to seven months. This means that the current stock is sufficient to meet local market demand until the production of new crops begins early next year, he said.
