Kuwait City: The embassies of some nations are working to complete the procedures for their citizens who are stuck in Kuwait, concurrently with the ongoing security campaigns by the concerned authorities, while the Ministry of Interior continues to provide remarkable facilities to complete the procedures for the departure of some arrested expatriates who are in violation of the labour and residence laws. In this regard, expatriates who break labour and residency laws are given an exit visa as soon as their residency status in Kuwait is cleared up and after they have paid the fines.

In coordination with their embassies, this takes place. In this regard, the 630 Filipino nationals who were detained and housed in the deportation centre had their formalities handled by the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait. Ongoing inspection campaigns in various areas of the country resulted in the arrest of hundreds of law violators among domestic workers or holders of Article 18 permit against whom absconding reports were filed, and they were sheltered in deportation centre. These campaigns are a part of the efforts to kick fugitives and marginal workers off the job market.
