Kuwait City:  Experts in Kuwait called for implementing environmental protection laws to limit climate change and to cooperate with leading countries such as China in combating climate change. This is the time when Earth experiences major climate changes in the form of wildfires and rising temperatures. In addition to the drought, the country is facing extreme floods and flash floods as a result of unprecedented heavy rains.

The Environment Public Authority has stated that it is preparing a strategic environmental plan to deal with climate change and the natural disasters it causes. Policies and procedures need to be adopted to address and mitigate risks. Ahead of the International Climate Summit (COP27) to be held in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh next November, major efforts are being made on this issue.
