Kuwait City: The Ministry of the Interior reiterated that the requirements for vehicles used by companies that deliver consumer goods will go into effect on October 1. According to a statement issued Monday by the Department of Relations and Security Media, the requirements announced last August include the driver of the delivery vehicle having a health certificate issued by the Ministry of Health as well as the company logo to which the delivery vehicle belongs, in collaboration with the Kuwait Municipality.

According to ministry sources, the conditions also require the driver of the delivery vehicle to be sponsored by the same company for which he works and to wear the company uniform regardless of whether the delivery vehicle is two or four wheels. The Ministry of Interior has urged the owners of the companies involved to follow the instructions and regulating laws, noting that anyone who violates these conditions will have his license suspended and will face legal action.
