KUWAIT WILL SEE 3.8 MILLION TRAVELERS IN 2024

Kuwait City: According to Fitch Solutions, there will be 943.7 thousand passengers travelling from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia in 2022, up from 323.3 thousand in 2021. This suggests that the number of passengers travelling from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia will increase until 2026. The report stated that there are optimistic expectations in the medium term for travellers coming from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia, estimating that the number of passengers will reach about 2 million in 2024 and 2.2 million in 2026. Saudi Arabia will maintain its rank as the largest destination for Kuwait in the Middle East during 2022 to 2026, the report stated. 


This year, it was projected that there would be 1.8 million passengers from Kuwait, an 80% increase over 2021's total of 986,700 passengers. This year, Kuwait's top destination will be Saudi Arabia. 3.8 million people will travel from Kuwait in total in 2024, according to Fitch Solutions, which is the highest number since the pre-Corona outbound travel level of 3.7 million passengers in 2019.
