MINISTRY OF EDUCATION IS CONSIDERING CHANGING SCHOOL HOURS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Education is currently studying a proposal to change primary school hours so that work ends at 1:20 p.m. rather than 1:30 p.m. Dr. Ali Al-Yacoub, Undersecretary of the Ministry, referred the Kuwait Teachers Association's proposal to the Public Education Sector, which has been tasked with preparing a response.


"First, we appreciate your eagerness to strengthen coordination between the ministry and the association, through which we jointly contribute to the development of the educational process and its outputs," said Hamad Al-Houli, Chairperson of the association.

 “Within the framework of the association’s commitment to improve education, we are pleased to present to you the proposal of the association and experts in the educational field regarding Resolution 17317 which specifies 1:30 pm as the closing time for primary schools.
