KUWAIT MINISTRY OF EDUCATION STARTED PROCESS OF RECRUITED EXPATRIATE TEACHERS

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Education has started the process of recruitment of teachers appointed from Palestine. Procedures in Kuwait and Palestine will be completed in coordination with the relevant authorities. The Education Delegation tasked with recruiting teachers from Palestine was able to select approximately 985 qualified candidates out of 3,000 applicants.


Sources in the ministry confirmed that the 500 teachers who passed the examination and interview were selected according to the specialization required by the ministry. This was reduced to 499 teachers after one applicant declined the offer. They were selected in accordance with the rules and regulations and in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education. Identified recognized universities whose graduates are allowed to sign employment contracts with the Ministry. Graduates from Israel and non-accredited universities were excluded from the recruitment process.
