KUWAIT HAS THE BEST PERFORMING ECONOMY AMONG GCC COUNTRIES

Kuwait City: World Bank report that Kuwait's economy is performing well among the GCC countries. Kuwait's gross domestic product (GDP) rose to 8.5 percent from 5.7 percent in April, the report said. The report, 'A New Mindset: Increasing Transparency and Accountability in the Middle East and North Africa', suggests that Kuwait's real GDP per capita will grow by 7.4 percent, up from 4.5 percent.


Per capita spending will increase by 1.4 percent next year. This increase is compared to the previous estimate of 2.5 percent. Kuwait's current account balance will be 28.6 percent of GDP in 2022 and 23.6 percent in 2023. According to the report, the overall balance of the public budget will reach 1.1 percent of GDP this year and decrease to -0.5 percent next year.
