MORE THAN 35,000 TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS DETECTED IN KUWAIT IN ONE WEEK

Kuwait City: Following inspection in numerous places across the nation, the traffic department. Major General Yousef Al Khadda, Director General of the General Traffic Department, and Major General Jamal Al Sayegh, Assistant Undersecretary for Operations and Traffic Affairs of the Ministry of Interior, respectively, oversaw the inspection on the ground. According to sources, 35,000 traffic violations were found overall. 


60 people were arrested for reckless driving. 81 vehicles and 33 bikes were shifted to the detention garage. 73 minors were arrested for driving without a driving license. The patrol team of all the six governorates also conducted inspections. 42 people who were on the wanted list were arrested. The General Traffic Department's patrol handled 4,291 traffic accidents last week. This includes 239 serious accidents.
