Turkey: The most important elections in Turkey's recent history have come to a close, determining whether Recep Tayyip Erdogan will continue as president after 20 years in office. Kemal Kilicdaroglu, his main rival, promises to revoke many of the authority that President Erdogan attained after surviving a botched coup in 2016. He has a strong chance of winning thanks to a broad coalition of the opposition. Turkey's 64 million voters have been most concerned about two issues: two earthquakes, and rising inflation.
