Abu Dhabi has been chosen to host the 2025 International Dragon Awards (IDA) Annual Conference from August 9 to 12 at the ADNEC Centre. This major event is expected to draw more than 7,000 attendees, including professionals from the insurance and finance industries, business leaders, and academics from around the globe.
Organized by the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau under the Department of Culture and Tourism, the IDA Conference is a globally recognized platform that honors excellence in the insurance field. The 2025 edition will feature over 60 sessions covering key financial trends, industry developments, and international economic outlooks.
His Excellency Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry emphasized that the event aligns with Abu Dhabi’s strategy to become a global hub for business events, supporting the emirate’s Economic Vision 2030. With state-of-the-art venues, expanded hotel infrastructure, and strong global connectivity, Abu Dhabi is well-positioned to host large-scale international conferences.
The return of the IDA to the UAE, after its 2015 edition in Dubai, highlights the country’s growing influence in the global financial and insurance sectors.
