Inter Miami wins MLS leagues Cup, Messi earns his 44th title

Lionel Messi secured his first Leagues Cup triumph in North American soccer on Sunday, scoring a remarkable goal in the final match between Inter Miami and Nashville SC. The Argentine super star, formerly of FC Barcelona and PSG, registered his tenth goal in seven matches before scoring the first goal in a thrilling penalty shoot-out to secure a 1-0 victory for the hosts.
