Devastating flood killed 8000 people in Libya

Libya's emergency services are searching for survivors and bodies after a devastating flood swept through the northeast of the country three nights ago, claiming the lives of at least eight thousand people and leaving tens of thousands of others missing. 


Eyewitness videos posted on social media show the destruction caused by the flooding, with rooftops toppling and cars strewn among the debris of ruined infrastructure.
