Comprehensive Security Plan Unveiled for Gulf 26 Football Championship

As the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Championship (Gulf Zain 26) approaches, the Ministry of Interior has outlined a comprehensive security plan to ensure the safety and success of the event. Major General Ali Al-Adwani, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, led a meeting with field security leaders at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium to discuss security, traffic, and logistical measures for the tournament. According to security sources, the plan is based on three key pillars: controlling elements to prevent disturbances, securing both fans and players, enhancing field security presence, and preparing for any emergencies with alternative strategies.

During the meeting, Major General Al-Adwani conveyed instructions from the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, urging heightened security efforts to ensure the event is well-organized and secure. The discussions covered the readiness of field sectors to implement the security and traffic plans, with a focus on coordination and effective support among all parties involved.

Major General Al-Adwani expressed confidence in the police’s ability to handle the tournament’s security and urged the public to cooperate with security personnel. He emphasized the importance of following instructions to ensure a smooth and safe experience for attendees, highlighting the commitment to showcasing the strength of Gulf relations during the championship.
