Kuwait Environmental Authority Records Violations, Removes Desert Camps

The Environment Public Authority, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and Kuwait Municipality, has recorded seven environmental violations and removed several non-compliant camps during an inspection campaign in the Al-Wafra and Arifjan desert areas.

Public Relations Director Sheikha Al-Ibrahim stated that 11 camps were cited for breaches related to littering, the use of harmful construction materials, and non-compliance with environmental regulations. The Authority emphasized its ongoing commitment to conducting joint inspections to enforce environmental laws and protect Kuwait’s natural landscape.
