Ministry of Islamic Affairs Pays Delayed Salaries to Imams and Muezzins

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has disbursed the overdue salaries of imams and muezzins for the months of September and October. Undersecretary Dr. Suleiman Al-Suwailem confirmed that the delays have been resolved, paving the way for timely payments moving forward.

Al-Suwailem stated the ministry is coordinating with relevant authorities to expedite remaining payments and ensure job security for religious staff. He also acknowledged the cooperation of the Civil Service Bureau and oversight bodies in facilitating the process and serving the public interest.
