Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah chaired the 129th meeting of the Supreme Petroleum Council, where strategic projects and plans to enhance the oil sector’s efficiency were reviewed. The council examined key initiatives led by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries aimed at strengthening the industry’s readiness for regional and global energy market shifts.

The discussions focused on sustaining the oil industry, maximizing the value of national resources, and aligning development with the state’s economic priorities.
