Kuwait Residents Urged to Dress Moderately as Winter Gradually Ends

With winter beginning to ease in Kuwait, meteorologist Issa Ramadan has advised residents to remain cautious in their choice of clothing. Although daytime temperatures are starting to feel warmer and many, especially young people, have begun wearing lighter clothes, cooler conditions are expected to persist at night.

He noted that during the first ten days of Ramadan, moderate weather is likely during the day, while nights may remain chilly. By March, the season will gradually shift toward spring. While heavy winter clothing can slowly be put away, residents should still prepare for cooler nighttime temperatures and avoid sudden wardrobe changes.

Ramadan also pointed out that rising temperatures across the Arabian Peninsula, Gulf countries, and Iraq are largely influenced by warm air currents from the Arabian Sea, Gulf of Oman, and the Arabian Gulf. Warmer daytime conditions are expected to continue through the coming Friday and Saturday. Residents have been advised to adjust clothing gradually and stay prepared for fluctuating temperatures.
