Over 3,000 Traffic Violations Recorded in One Day in Kuwait, Many Near Hospitals

Kuwait’s General Directorate of Traffic recorded 3,206 traffic violations in a single day during intensified inspections across the country. Authorities also impounded 47 vehicles and motorcycles for various offences.

A major share of the violations—322 cases—were linked to illegal parking around hospital premises. Vehicles parked at hospital entrances and on walkways were found to be obstructing ambulance movement and emergency services, prompting stricter enforcement.

The highest number of cases was reported near Al-Amiri Hospital, where 119 violations were recorded. Traffic officials warned that strict action will continue against motorists who park in restricted areas and disrupt access to emergency medical facilities.
