Sheikh Mohammed Launches Dh1 Billion Ramadan Campaign to Combat Child Hunger

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has launched a new humanitarian Ramadan campaign aimed at saving five million children under the age of five from malnutrition and hunger. The initiative, titled “Had Al Hayah” (The Edge of Life), seeks to raise at least Dh1 billion in donations locally and globally.

The campaign, launched under Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives in partnership with major international organisations including Unicef, Save the Children and Action Against Hunger, will provide urgent nutritional support and life-saving aid to vulnerable children worldwide.

Announcing the initiative ahead of Ramadan, Sheikh Mohammed called on the community to unite in charitable efforts, stressing the importance of supporting those in need and addressing global hunger during the holy month.
