Sharjah Announces Eid Al Fitr Holidays for Government Employees

The Sharjah Department of Human Resources has announced the Eid Al Fitr holiday schedule for government employees across the emirate.

According to the decision, the holiday will begin on Thursday, March 19, 2026, and continue until Sunday, March 22, with official work set to resume on Monday, March 23. The break applies to employees in government departments, authorities and institutions, while those working in shift-based roles will continue according to operational requirements.

The department also extended Eid greetings to the UAE leadership, citizens and residents, as well as to Arab and Islamic nations, wishing continued prosperity and blessings on the occasion.
