Kuwait Mourns Two Martyrs as Iranian Attacks Continue; GCC Voices Strong Solidarity

Kuwait has mourned two naval force martyrs, Sergeant Walid Majeed Suleiman and Sergeant Abdulaziz Abdulmohsen Dakhel Nasser, who lost their lives while carrying out national duties amid ongoing regional hostilities.

According to the Ministry of Defense, more than 1,336 drones and 453 missiles have been launched since the start of the conflict, with Kuwaiti and GCC armed forces continuing to intercept hostile targets.

His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah conducted field inspections at key facilities, including the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery of Kuwait National Petroleum Company and Shuaiba Port, to review security and preparedness measures.

Meanwhile, Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Jassim Al-Budaiwi strongly condemned the Iranian attacks, reaffirming GCC solidarity and rejecting any aggression against member states.

Regional tensions remain high, with continued international condemnation of the attacks and unified Gulf support for Kuwait’s sovereignty and security.
