Man Arrested Over False Claims Targeting Mahboula Towers

Kuwait City: Ministry of Interior has arrested a man for posting a misleading video on social media falsely claiming that residential towers in Mahboula, including Alia and Ghalia Towers, were targeted.

Security authorities launched an investigation after the video began circulating online. The suspect was identified and admitted to filming and sharing the false content. He has been referred to the competent authorities for legal action.

The Ministry stressed that spreading rumors and false information is a punishable offense, as it creates public panic and disrupts security efforts. Officials reaffirmed that strict legal measures will be taken against violators without leniency.
