UAE Partially Resumes Flights With Strict Airport Controls

Flight services in the United Arab Emirates have partially resumed after disruptions caused by the ongoing regional conflict. Authorities said airlines including Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai and Air Arabia are currently operating a limited number of flights.

Officials have stressed that only passengers who have received direct confirmation from their airlines and hold valid tickets should travel to the airport. Travelers are strongly advised to check the latest flight status through the airline’s official website or mobile application before leaving for the airport.

Emirates said it is currently operating a restricted schedule. Passengers scheduled to travel before April 30 have the option to rebook their tickets or request refunds if their flights are affected. City check in facilities across Dubai have also been temporarily closed.

Security measures have been tightened at Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport. Operations are being closely coordinated by Dubai Police and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs as airspace remains only partially open.

Authorities said efforts are underway to gradually restore normal flight operations, especially as many expatriates are preparing to travel during the upcoming Ramadan period. However, passengers have been warned that schedules may change due to security considerations and should verify travel details before heading to the airport.
