Kuwait Health Ministry Advises Residents to Keep First Aid Kits at Home

The Kuwait Ministry of Health has advised residents to prepare and keep a basic first aid kit at home to help manage medical needs during emergency situations.

Health officials said having an emergency medical kit readily available can assist families in responding quickly to minor injuries or sudden health issues before professional medical help arrives.

The ministry recommended including several essential items in the kit. These include medicines required for chronic illnesses, bandages, cotton and medical disinfectants for treating wounds.

Residents are also encouraged to keep a thermometer to monitor body temperature and copies of important medical reports for quick reference if urgent treatment becomes necessary.

Authorities said maintaining a well prepared health kit at home can play an important role in ensuring timely care and improving preparedness during unexpected situations.
