Kuwait Seizes 92 kg of Spoiled Fish in Food Safety Inspection

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has intensified inspections on food establishments to ensure public health and food safety standards across the country.

During a surprise inspection campaign carried out in the Capital Governorate, authorities seized around 92 kilograms of fish that were deemed unfit for human consumption.

Officials confirmed that the spoiled fish was destroyed according to the authority’s strict safety procedures. Legal action has also been taken against the establishments found violating food safety regulations.

Authorities reiterated their commitment to protecting consumers and ensuring that food products available in the market meet required health standards.

The authority added that inspection campaigns will continue in the coming days to monitor food establishments and maintain strict oversight of food quality across Kuwait. Officials warned that any violations threatening public health will be dealt with firmly without compromise.
