Kuwait Customs Seize Narcotics Hidden in Vehicle

Kuwait City: Customs authorities have arrested a traveler who entered Kuwait from Saudi Arabia through the Salmi border after discovering suspected drug pills hidden inside his vehicle.

During inspection, officials found approximately 1,391 tablets believed to be “Larica.” Legal action has been initiated against the individual on suspicion of attempting to smuggle narcotics into the country.

Authorities stated that the General Directorate of Customs remains on high alert despite the current challenging conditions. Advanced inspection systems are being used to identify and intercept suspicious vehicles and cargo.

They added that customs officers continue to perform their duties efficiently, ensuring the safety and security of the country while handling various operational challenges.
