Kuwait Education Ministry Announces Remote Learning Plan

Kuwait City: Schools in Kuwait will shift to an online learning system starting Tuesday, following the last ten days of Ramadan and the Eid Al Fitr holidays, the Ministry of Education has announced.

All students across different educational levels will attend classes through digital platforms, with sessions beginning at 9:00 am.

To support effective learning, the ministry has introduced two different approaches. For students from kindergarten to Grade 3, an asynchronous method will be used, allowing them to access pre-recorded lessons at a time that suits them and their parents.

For students from Grade 4 onwards, classes will follow a synchronous format, enabling live interaction between teachers and students through real-time online sessions.

Officials stated that the initiative aims to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality education by using modern technology. The move also focuses on maintaining both student safety and academic standards under current circumstances.
