Sharjah: Sharjah City Municipality has intensified its preparations to deal with expected rainfall by activating a comprehensive emergency response plan across the emirate.

The Higher Committee for Rain Emergencies, along with field teams, has implemented proactive measures to ensure quick and efficient response to any weather-related incidents throughout the city.

A workforce of around 1,200 personnel, including engineers, technicians, inspectors, and support staff, has been deployed under a unified system to manage operations smoothly.

Authorities said the teams are fully equipped and ready to respond with high levels of professionalism, aiming to minimise disruptions and ensure public safety during adverse weather conditions.
