Kuwait Revises Civil ID Office Timings, Suspends Evening Services

Kuwait City: The Public Authority for Civil Information has announced key changes to its working hours and visitor access system, effective from Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

Under the new schedule, evening services have been completely suspended until further notice. Offices will now receive visitors only from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Entry will be strictly limited to those who have booked appointments in advance through the Meta platform or the Sahel application. The move is aimed at managing crowd flow and improving service efficiency.

Authorities also clarified that services which can be completed online should not be processed through in-person visits. The public has been urged to make full use of digital platforms to reduce congestion at service centres.

Residents visiting for Civil ID-related services are advised to take note of these changes and plan accordingly.
