Kuwait Defence Minister Inspects Airport After Drone Attack

Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Defence Minister, Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Salem Al Sabah, visited Kuwait International Airport to assess the damage caused by the recent drone attack.

The attack targeted fuel tanks used for aircraft operations, resulting in a fire. Authorities confirmed that while there was material damage, no casualties were reported.

During his visit, the minister praised the swift response of the General Fire Force, Kuwait Armed Forces, National Guard, and Kuwait Oil Company teams, highlighting their crucial role in ensuring public safety and national security.

Officials also confirmed that security measures have been further strengthened following the incident, with relevant authorities remaining on high alert.
