Double world record win for Dubai Police at marathon event

Dubai Police has achieved two new Guinness World Records during the Dubai Marathon 2026, further strengthening its global reputation in sports performance and operational excellence.

Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, received the official certificates at a ceremony held at the Dubai Police Officers’ Club, in the presence of senior officials including Jassim Mohammed Hassan.

The first record was set by coach Saeed Bilal, who completed a 10km run in 48.6 minutes while wearing a taekwondo uniform, establishing a unique global benchmark in the category.

The second record highlighted teamwork and endurance, as a Dubai Police team, including Hassan Bilal, Arif Abdul Razzaq, Nabil Al Shami, and Mohamed Sharif, carried a 70kg patient on a stretcher over a 10km distance in 56.50 minutes.

The achievement demonstrated high levels of endurance, coordination, and operational readiness under demanding physical conditions.
