Three injured after debris hits Habshan gas facility in Abu Dhabi

Authorities in Abu Dhabi confirmed that three people, including two Emiratis and one Indian national, sustained minor injuries after debris from a successfully intercepted aerial threat struck the Habshan gas processing facility.

According to the Abu Dhabi Media Office, the incident occurred as a result of falling debris following air defence interception operations. Emergency response teams were quickly deployed to the site, where they worked to contain several small fires.

As a precaution, operations at the facility have been temporarily suspended while authorities assess the situation and evaluate any potential damage. Officials noted that investigations are ongoing and further updates will be provided.

Earlier reports had mentioned a fire at the Habshan facility without specifying the cause. Authorities have urged the public to rely only on official sources for accurate information and to avoid spreading rumours or unverified reports.
