Road Safety: Sharjah Traffic Prosecution Issues Urgent Warning for School Return

With the academic year back in full swing, Sharjah Traffic Prosecution has issued a high-level advisory reminding the public that strict adherence to road protocols is the primary safeguard for the community. Dr. Saeed Abdullah Al Naqbi, Director of Sharjah Traffic Prosecution, emphasized the need for extra vigilance during the morning rush, as the influx of school buses and commuting parents significantly raises traffic density.

Authorities are taking a firm stance against reckless behavior, specifically highlighting the danger of obstructing roads with debris or objects. Furthermore, drivers are instructed to respect parking regulations; if stopping is unavoidable, vehicles must be moved to the right shoulder, well clear of bends, slopes, and intersections—to ensure the safety of all students and motorists.
