Operations resume at Terminal 4 of Kuwait International Airport, flights increase to 29

Operations have successfully resumed at Terminal 4 of Kuwait International Airport, with officials confirming enhanced safety measures and a gradual increase in flight activity.

Minjae Chun, CEO of Incheon Korea Airport Services at Terminal 4, said passenger safety remains the top priority, with continued efforts to ensure stable operations and improved service quality.

Terminal 4, which is dedicated to Kuwait Airways, has seen a steady rise in flight operations. Chun noted that daily flights increased from 10 on April 26 to 29 by May 3, following the addition of 13 new destinations.

He highlighted that emergency preparedness and safety protocols have been strengthened in coordination with the General Authority of Civil Aviation. Comprehensive inspections were carried out across all facilities, and emergency response systems were upgraded to ensure readiness.

As part of enhanced safety measures, all arriving and departing passengers will access Terminal 4 exclusively through its designated parking garage.

To mark the reopening, the terminal featured a welcoming campaign by Incheon Korea Airport Services, including banners reading “We missed you,” along with staff استقبال passengers with Kuwaiti flags and bouquets. Travelers were also given flags carrying “Welcome back” messages, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere.

Officials said the reopening reflects growing operational stability at the airport and signals a continued return to normal travel activity.
