Global Village Dubai has announced the extension of its current season until May 31, offering residents and tourists additional time to enjoy one of the UAE’s most popular entertainment and cultural destinations during the Eid holiday period.
Authorities said the decision was taken due to overwhelming visitor demand and the expected increase in crowds during the long festive break. The extension is expected to add further excitement to Eid celebrations in Dubai.
According to Fernando Eiroa, the 30th season of Global Village marks an important milestone that reflects three decades of successful entertainment and cultural experiences in Dubai.
Officials noted that the attraction has witnessed exceptionally high footfall since reopening on April 20, prompting the decision to extend operations beyond the previously scheduled closing date.
As part of the extended season, Global Village has also launched a special “Wonder Pass” offer for visitors. Priced at 99 dirhams, the pass provides unlimited access for one full day to more than 195 rides and games in the Carnival zone. The passes are available both online and at the venue.
Adventure enthusiasts can also enjoy five new rides introduced this season, including Toronto Tornado, Cape Gliders and Rio Rocket. For children, the newly launched “Little Wanderers” indoor play area has become another major attraction.
Officials have additionally revised the park’s operating hours to accommodate the growing number of visitors. On weekdays, the park will remain open until midnight, while on Fridays and Saturdays it will operate from 5 pm until 1 am.
The extended schedule is expected to provide families, tourists and residents with more opportunities for shopping, dining and entertainment throughout the remainder of the season.
Global Village continues to remain one of Dubai’s leading seasonal attractions, bringing together international cultures, food, shopping and live performances under one destination.
