Kuwait Orders Two Iranian Diplomats to Leave Within 24 Hours

KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait has ordered two Iranian diplomats to leave the country within 24 hours and reduced the size of Iran’s diplomatic mission following continued missile and drone attacks targeting Kuwaiti territory.

The Foreign Ministry summoned Iran’s Chargé d’Affaires and handed over an official protest note, condemning the attacks that struck civilian and vital facilities, including Kuwait International Airport, killing one person and injuring dozens.

Kuwait strongly rejected Iran’s allegations and reaffirmed its right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, security, and citizens.
