Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy is reviewing bids submitted for a major project involving the repair and maintenance of water pumps, mechanical equipment and related facilities across the country.
According to informed sources, the ministry is currently evaluating four bids that were opened by the Central Agency for Public Tenders last week. The assessment process will determine which company best meets the required technical specifications before a final recommendation is submitted.
The project covers maintenance work for pumps and associated equipment in water operation and maintenance facilities, as well as chemical treatment and reverse osmosis sites located in various regions of Kuwait.
Officials said the initiative aims to strengthen water security, protect the country’s strategic water reserves and ensure the continuous readiness of the national water network. Regular maintenance is considered essential to maintaining reliable water supplies and meeting growing demand across the country.
