Kuwait City: Twelfth-grade students across Kuwait began their end-of-year examinations for the 2025/2026 academic year on Wednesday amid organised procedures and strict supervision by the Ministry of Education.
Students in the science stream sat for the mathematics examination, while arts students took the French language examination. Religious education students completed the classical logic examination as part of the first day of assessments.
The ministry implemented comprehensive security and administrative measures to ensure the safe distribution of examination papers. Exam materials were transported from the central control room to examination committees across the country under strict confidential procedures. Question paper boxes were opened inside examination centres under the supervision of designated officials.
Education authorities also conducted self-inspection procedures for students before entering examination halls to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a suitable testing environment.
Officials from various educational districts maintained continuous communication with committee heads, particularly in schools with large student populations, to monitor the examination process and promptly address any observations or challenges that arose during the opening day.
The ministry said the measures aim to provide students with a calm, fair and organised examination environment throughout the assessment period.
