New Driving Test Schedule Announced in Kuwait

Kuwait City: The General Traffic Department has announced a significant change to the schedule of driving tests across the country, with all tests now set to be conducted during morning hours.

Under the new arrangement, applicants with driving test appointments must attend their designated test centres between 8:00am and 2:30pm. Authorities said the move is intended to streamline procedures and improve the efficiency of testing operations.

Officials also clarified that applicants who were previously assigned evening appointments may still attend their tests on the same scheduled date during the newly designated morning time period.

Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Bu Hassan said the revised schedule is expected to help complete procedures more smoothly and reduce delays for applicants.

Candidates who are unable to attend their appointments or who miss their scheduled tests can easily book a new date through the Sahel application. Authorities advised applicants to regularly check notifications sent through official Ministry of Interior platforms to confirm appointment details before visiting test centres.

The new system is expected to save time for driving licence applicants while making the testing process more organised and convenient.
