Kuwait oil price climbs $1.32 to $105.91 per barrel

KUWAIT CITY: The price of Kuwaiti oil rose by $1.32 to reach $105.91 per barrel in Friday’s trading, compared with $104.59 per barrel on Thursday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) reported Saturday.

The increase in Kuwaiti crude came as benchmark oil prices in global markets moved in the opposite direction.

Brent crude fell by six cents to settle at $102.25 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude declined by $1.76 to $91.11 per barrel.

The latest figures reflect movements in both Kuwaiti crude and international oil benchmarks, which are closely watched indicators for energy markets.
