Kuwait is expected to experience warm days, mild nights and increasing humidity through the weekend, with temperatures gradually declining and light fog possible in some areas, according to the Kuwait Meteorological Department.
The department said relative humidity would rise particularly in coastal areas as autumn weather conditions continue to change. Light fog may develop overnight and during the early morning, potentially reducing visibility in some locations. Residents and motorists have been advised to remain alert to changing weather conditions.
On Thursday, October 15, maximum temperatures were forecast to range from 38°C to 40°C in coastal areas, accompanied by light to moderate southeasterly winds of 8 to 30 kilometers per hour. Sea conditions were expected to remain slight to moderate, with waves reaching one to four feet.
On Friday, temperatures were forecast to reach 37°C to 39°C, while minimum temperatures were expected to range from 21°C to 23°C. Southeasterly winds were predicted at 8 to 35 kilometers per hour, with sea waves remaining between one and four feet.
On Saturday, maximum temperatures were expected to fall further to between 36°C and 38°C, with relatively high humidity along the coast. Winds were forecast at 8 to 32 kilometers per hour, and light fog could form overnight in some areas.
Saturday night was expected to bring mild conditions, with minimum temperatures ranging from 20°C to 22°C. Southeasterly winds were forecast at 6 to 26 kilometers per hour, while sea waves were expected to reach one to three feet.
The department’s forecast points to a gradual cooling trend, although warm daytime conditions and coastal humidity are expected to persist. Motorists should exercise caution if fog reduces visibility, particularly during late-night and early-morning travel.
